2 Ways to Enter Incognito Mode in Google Chrome

Incognito Mode (Incognito) or sometimes called Privacy Mode allows the browser not to store information and history of websites that have been visited.

Specifically, Google Chrome will not save history, information entered in forms, cookies, and other site data.

Temporary bookmarks and downloaded files will still be saved on the computer. Here’s how to open Incognito mode on the PC and Android versions of Google Chrome.

#1 How to enter Google Chrome PC Incognito mode

For the computer version of Google Chrome, click the three vertical dots icon in the upper right corner and select it New incognito window or New incognito window if you use Google Chrome Indonesian. The Incognito window will open and not mix with the main window.

You can also use key combinations CTRL+SHIFT+N to open the Incognito window. This method is somewhat more instant than using the mouse.

How to enable extensions in the Incognito window

There are several Google Chrome extensions that are very useful when combined with Incognito mode. Here’s how to enable extensions in Incognito mode.

1. Click the three vertical dots icon in the upper right corner, then hover over More tools (Other tools), then click Extension (Extension).

2. On the extension you want to enable in Incognito mode, click Details (Details).

3. Look into the section Allow in incognito (Allow in incognito) then slide the slider right to turn it on.

Note that extensions that are active in the Incognito window must also be active in the main window. Several types of extensions can still track your activities in Incognito mode if activated there.
