Easy Ways to Delete Save Game in GTA V
Deleting save data can be an option when the amount has reached the maximum or if you want to play the game from the beginning again.
In this tutorial, I will share how to delete save games in GTA V on all platforms, be it PC, PS3, or Xbox.
As a reference, I’m using the PC version of GTA V, but the method used is still the same as on the console platform. Here’s the guide.
#1 How to delete GTA V save data directly in the game
1. Run GTA V.
2. Open Pause Menu > Games > Load Game.
3. Select the save data you want to delete, then click the button Delete.
4. Press Yes for confirmation.
5. Now the save data has been deleted, press OK.. Please restart the game to see the effect.
The above guide can be applied on all platforms because the save file is deleted directly through the game. Especially for the PC version, you have other variants that are more practical, especially if there are many save files.
#2 How to delete save files in GTA V PC
1. Open File Explorer. Lead to Documents > Rockstar Games > GTA V > Profiles > XXXXXX (random folder name).
2. Search find files SGTAXXXXXthen right click and click Delete.
3. Select Yes for confirmation.
After that, please try playing GTA V again.
This storage folder can also be deleted to solve several problems such as corrupt save files, games, etc freezinguntil it failed to save the game.
