Easy Ways to Remove the Curved Fisheye Effect in Photos
Fisheye lenses are useful for taking pictures with a wide angle of view, but with the consequence that everything looks curved.
This effect can be overcome by eliminating lens distortion so that the photos look like they were taken with a normal lens.
If you look closely, the edges of the photo appear cut off. This is naturally bound to happen when trying to remove the fisheye effect.
It’s like making a square shape from circle paper, of course there are parts that have to be cut so that they are no longer visible in the final result.
Several other software such as PhotoDemon, GIMP, and Photoshop can also be used to correct lenses. But GML Undistorter in this regard is the simplest and easiest to use.
