The name of the laptop/computer usually consists of a brand, version, and numbers. This name will be identification when using Bluetooth, WiFi and other communications.
For example, the name of my computer is DESKTOP-HSJF0EC which is hard to remember and identify.
For clarification, the steps above are for renaming the device. While the Microsoft account name will have no effect. The account name is only used when logging in to the device and user identification.
