How to Change Specific Program Tile Icon Colors in Windows 10

Windows 10 brings one of the characteristics of the appearance of Windows 8, namely the tile feature which is the background for the icon of a program.

By default, the color of the tiles depends on the color of the theme you are using so that all programs appear to have one color. However, with the help of an application, you can change the tile background color in certain programs.

How to change the color of certain program tiles

Based on my observations, the color persists even though the Windows Tile Color Changer application is closed. Please note that some programs such as Microsoft Office, Firefox, and Chrome Canary do not allow changing the tile color.

Despite these names, the majority of programs should still be able to change their tile color. Windows Tile Color Changer is also portable, so if you want to uninstall, just delete the file.
