How to Make Gboard Float When Typing Text
Gboard has several useful features, one of which is the feature that enables a floating keyboard. Some Gboard users may not know about this feature, maybe you are one of them.
If you want to activate the floating keyboard feature, you can do it easily. If you don’t know how, please refer to the following tutorial until it’s finished.
1. Open the app YouTube on your cellphone, then tap search field. Please note, you can open other applications, for example WhatsApp.

2. When you tap on the search field, Gboard will appear, please tap it three horizontal dots.
3. Tap floating.
4. Here is the result where Gboard is floating successfully.
5. If you want Gboard to be the way it was, i.e. not floating, please tap it three vertical point.
6. Tap floating.
7. Following are the results where Gboard was successfully restored to its original state.
