How to Solve Logitech F710 Can’t Connect to Windows
Logitech Gamepad F710 is known to have one crucial problem when it is about to be used; the device is not detected or cannot connect to the computer.
This problem has recently become common among Windows 10 users. Luckily, there is a simple solution to fix it.
You also do not need to install additional drivers or software. We only need to activate a hidden “feature” so that Logitech F710 can be used again. Here’s a guide to fix it.
1. Search Device Manager on the menu Startthen run.
2. Go to Other devicesright click on Wireless Gamepad F710 then select Driver updates.
3. Click Browse my computer for driver software.
4. Select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
5. Double click on Xbox 360 Peripherals.
6. Double click on Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows.
7. Press Yes.
8. When finished, click Close.
9. Now the Logitech F710 is connected to the computer.
Try pressing the button Logitech (in the middle of the controller) to see if the Game Bar opens — if it does, the device is ready to use. Note, this Game Bar feature is only available if you have updated Windows.
If there is no Game Bar or its features are disabled, try playing the game and see if the controller works as it should.
If at any time the device is experiencing problems, I recommend downloading the Wireless Gamepad F710 Connect Utility to do a reset — usually this method always works to fix common problems with the controller.
