Preventing Certain Programs from Running “Run as Administrator”
In some programs will display a confirmation before it can be fully run, we often call the message “Run as Administrator”. This is very common on Windows devices.
However, not all programs require Administrator privileges to run. You can disable the “Run as Administrator” mode in certain programs.
Thus, the program will run instantly without asking for confirmation first.
How to disable “Run as Administrator” in certain programs
Now the program will run immediately when you double-click. However, if the program does not start, it could be that the program does require Administrator privileges.
To overcome this, you can right click on the program then select Run as administrator. Instantly the setting will be the default state unless you change it.
